Make A Fish with Danielle~ The Clay Lady 
Saturday, June 3 from 10:00-11:30, $20 – only 4 spots left!                                                                     
For all ages and families! Make and paint a fish out of a ball of clay! We will clear glaze and fire it in the kiln for your pick up in 7-10 days!

Saturday, June 17 from 9:30-11:30, $50 each – so sorry – this class is FULL
You and anyone that you love as a dad can have a fun experience trying your hand at the potter’s wheel! All ages are welcome. Your pots will be fired and ready for pick-up in 10 days!

Make a Turtle with Danielle~The Clay Lady
Saturday, July 22 from 10:00-11:30, $20
For all ages and families! Make and paint a turtle out of a ball of clay! We will clear glaze and fire it in the kiln for your pick up in 7-10 days!

Summer Fused Glass Catcher with Kelly Carter
Saturday, July 22 from 1:30-4:30, $95
Make a beautiful suncatcher of your own design out of glass! We will fuse your design in our kiln and it will be ready for pick up in 7-10 days! Ages 16 and up.

Make an Apple Bowl with Danielle~The Clay Lady
Saturday, August 26 from 10:00-11:30, $20
For all ages and families! Make and paint an apple bowl out of a ball of clay! We will clear glaze and fire it in the kiln for your pick up in 7-10 days!

Make a Rag Rug with Anne-Marie Narey
Saturday, September 9 from 1:00-4:30, $95
You will learn the art of creating a beautiful and functional rag rug using repurposed fabrics. Whether you’re a beginner or an experience crafter, this workshop offers something for everyone! Ages 16 and up.

Kids on the Wheel with Danielle~The Clay Lady & Joseph McDaniel
Saturday, September 16 from 9:30-11:30, $50 each
Have a fun experience trying your hand at the potter’s wheel! All are welcome ages 8 and up. Your pots will be glazed, fired, and ready for pick-up in 7 days!

Raku with Susan Lawless                    
Friday, June 2 from 5:30-7:30 & Saturday June 3 from 10:00-3:00, $125 – only 4 spots left!
Friday night: learn how to glaze your bisque fire Raku clay pot with Crackle Glaze, Copper Glaze, resist techniques, and more! Saturday: the firing will begin! Susan recommends #239 Raku Clay made by standard and can be purchased at Mid-South Ceramic Supply – clay is not included. Each participant gets to fire 4, 2.5lb. pots. Ages 16 and up. 

Faux Bronze Cold Finish with Alexis Colbert    
Saturday, June 17 from 9:00-1:00,

Learn to create a beautiful faux bronze finish on your ceramic sculptures with Cold Finish Techniques. Bring a bisqued or vitrified sculpture to work on. All other materials will be provided. Ages 16 and up.

Make A 1 Part Cup Mold with Becca Jane Koehler  
Saturday, July 29 from 9:00-11:30,

Becca Jane will teach you how to make a 1 part cup mold! Go home with a cup plaster mold and tools you made it with. Ages 16 and up.

Kiln 101 with Joseph McDaniel 
Saturday, July 29 from 9:00-1:00,

Learn the history of kilns as well as the difference between wood, gas, and electric firing. A good portion of the day will cover everything you need to know about firing, loading, maintaining, and getting great results from electric kilns. Ages 16 and up.

How Flow Can You Go? A Hands-On Glazing Workshop with Joseph McDaniel 
Saturday, August 26 from 9:00-12:00, 
$100
Learn how to predict your glaze’s outcomes when it comes to layering, thickness, and other mysteries of glazing. You’ll learn how to identify how a glaze combination will react, as well as how to make sure you achieve a proper thickness with any application. Take your glazing skills to the next level with confidence by demystifying how glazes will effect your piece. Please bring your own C/6 bisqueware. Ages 16 and up.

Exploring the Human Form: Intro to Figure Sculpting with Cassis Pitman
Saturday, September 16 and Sunday, September 17 from 9:00-3:00, $195
Unleash your artistic talents in our immersive workshop, where you’ll learn the fundamentals of figure sculpture using clay. With a live model as your muse, Cassis will guide you through capturing the human body’s essence and unique character. Ages 16 and up.

Glaze Chemistry – as easy as baking! with Joseph McDaniel

Saturday, May 27 from 9:00-3:00, $125
Whether you take this workshop to learn how to mix your own glaze, how to tweak a manufactured glaze to make it your own, or just for more understanding of glazes, Joseph will explain the components of glaze in such a way anyone can understand and implement their new knowledge.  Please bring a lunch! Ages 16 and up

The Clay Lady Way® is a modality of teaching clay developed during The Clay Lady’s teaching career. It is a simple and streamline method that makes your teaching easy and successful. Although easy for you, it will work for any skill level of any age artist.
