Increase your skills to practice in your studio or your class! The meaning of RAKU is Japanese hand-modeled pottery that is fired at a low temperature and rapidly cooled to create a unique effect. Join Susan to learn how to glaze your bisque fired Raku clay pot with Crackle Glaze, Copper Glaze, resist techniques, and more! On Saturday the firing will begin! Each participant brings their own four 2.5 lb bisqued raku clay pieces for the firing. Susan recommends #239 Raku Clay made by Standard and can be purchased at Mid-South Ceramic Supply.  (Clay not included) Limited Registration. This class will fill quickly! Workshop Description:

Experience and Age Level: Skills Building – some experience required. Ages 16 and up

Important Information: This is a hands-on experience workshop.

Full refund -> cancel 72 hours before the workshop
No refund -> cancel after 72 hours before the workshop

Additional Information: Your registration will be processed via Mid-South Ceramics (the supply store on The Clay Lady’s Campus). Please watch for an email from The Clay Lady’s Campus or your instructor the week of your workshop for more information.
